Entirely RMT.
Entirely for You.

At Movera Health, every treatment is provided by Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs). We’re proud to be an RMT-led clinic, offering regulated, evidence-informed care you can trust.

A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is a licensed healthcare professional with in-depth training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and therapeutic techniques. RMTs are regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC), ensuring high standards of safety, ethics, and continuing education.

What is RMT?

Why RMT Care Matters

Registered Massage Therapy is more than a relaxing experience—it is personalized, assessment-driven healthcare tailored to your unique needs, goals, and physical demands. Through safe, hands-on treatment, Registered Massage Therapists can support pain management, stress reduction, rehabilitation, and overall physical function while adapting your care as your needs change over time. Massage therapy is also eligible for reimbursement under most extended health benefit plans.

Pain Relief

Improved Mobility

Massage therapy is an excellent method for alleviating pain, effectively addressing both acute and chronic conditions while reducing its intensity and frequency.

Massage therapy helps improve joint flexibility and range of motion by targeting soft tissue.

Stress Reduction

Better Sleep

Regular massages support lower cortisol production, enhancing relaxation and helping to manage stress.

Post Injury Rehabilitation

Massage therapy supports faster healing, aids in quicker recovery, and helps prevent re-injury by improving tissue functions.

The calming effect of massage can promote better sleep patterns and enhance overall sleep quality.

Enhanced Circulation

Through improved circulation, massages help nourish muscle cells with oxygen and nutrients while clearing out toxins.

Taking a look into your session

Step 1: History & Assessment

Your RMT may begin by assessing your body’s movement patterns and discussing your health history. This step helps them identify any areas of restriction, imbalance, or pain that may be limiting your mobility and overall well-being. Your practitioners goal is to understand your unique challenges so we can create a targeted plan for your treatment.

Step 2 : Hands On Manual Therapy

Next, your practitioner designs a customized massage therapy session tailored to your specific needs. Using a blend of techniques—whether it’s deep tissue, myofascial release, or trigger point therapy—they focus on relieving tension, improving mobility, and addressing the root causes of your discomfort. Your practitioner can adjust pressure and technique to suit your comfort level, ensuring the best outcomes for your body.

Step 3: Movement & Therapeutic Exercise

Following your massage session, we encourage you to continue your recovery through movement. Our facility includes a gym space where your practitoner may guide you through customized rehabilitation exercises designed to improve your strength, flexibility, and functional movement. These exercises are key to reduce the risk of re-injury, enhance pain management and promote long-term health and longevity.
